(not) My Uniforms, 2026
Print on fabric
190 x 45 x 3cm

I gathered images of uniforms I wore at different stages of my life, from elementary school to part-time jobs in my 20's. I collaged male versions of these uniforms, those I never actually wore, then printed them onto A4-sized pieces of canvas fabric and assembled them into a single figure.

The work reflects on how uniforms shape identity, behaviour, and a sense of belonging. More than simply clothing, uniforms communicate expectations, social roles, and ideas about who we are meant to be.
By reconstructing my personal history through uniforms that were never mine, the piece questions the relationship between selfhood and the structures that define us.
