Vengeance took part of a project METAHORROR with other students, staff and alumni from Central Saint Martins and The Art Academy of Latvia.

This short horror film plays with stereotypical point-of-view horror shots, incorporating meta elements such as showing the cameraman’s reflection in a mirror to reveal the trick, or using exaggeratedly loud scary music. The work exaggerates the familiar tropes of horror cinema to both parody and celebrate the genre, exposing the mechanics of fear while still engaging the viewer in its atmosphere.
